Dear Harlem Book Fair Exhibitor,

This year, HBF's collaboration with Columbia University brings a long-awaited expansion from a one to a three day festival.  This means more books, more authors, more readings and panels, larger audiences, and a broader celebration of the black world through books.

We begin on Thursday night with the launch of the Harlem Book Fair Concert for Literacy, a star-studded concert featuring well-known performers and musical artists in support of community literacy.  Exhibitors have exclusive access to a limited number of discounted tickets. You don't want to miss this...

Our newly-added indoor Friday programming at Columbia University will focus on Fiction and present the best of our authors and stories from around the world and on the street.  Limited to fiction authors and books, it will be your first opportunity to exhibit and present your work to a buying audience.  As a participating exhibitor, you will also have access to discounted tickets to the Friday evening Wheatley Book Award program, also taking place on the campus of Columbia University. Our Saturday program, which takes place outdoors annually on West 135th street at Lenox Avenue and is broadcast live by C-SPAN's Book TV from the Schomburg Center, promises record attendance.

As always, we look forward to your participation, as our growing HBF audience looks forward to reading new work.  Please feel free to contact us with any question the concerns.  This is black America's book festival, then and you are part of it.

PS.  On January 1, we are re-launching QBR The Black Book Review online (www.qbr.com).  Please contact us (hbf@qbr.com) so that we may review and promote your book titles in advance of the Harlem Book Fair.

Enthusiastically,

Max Rodriguez, Publisher & Founder
