Trying to understand the color issues that plague America is so difficult, especially these days. Who whould have thought that in 2015 it would still be so? I believe The Angelic Upstarts gives a realistic view on these issues. How? The Angelic Upstarts focuses on race for what it is - a psychological issue versus social or economic. It is so deepy entrenched in each of our psyches that it's hard to even imagine a world without it.

The Angelic Upstarts speaks clearly, openly and genuinely on these topics, albeit somewhat lengthy (over 600 pages). But it makes for a totally interesting, enlightening and informative read, especially for anyone Black or White who is confused as to why things are the way they are, and in the author's view, how they can be changed. Enjoy!
