"The Several Strange Adventures of Max & Ding" tells the story about a boy who uses science and technology to build a robot that comes to life and they go on magical adventures through space and time. It's a book to encourage children, especially children of color, to go on adventures, stretch their imagination, use their curiosity to explore new fields and ultimately to inspire their personal growth. This book is great for 1st - 4th graders, but can be enjoyed by the young at heart of any age!

I got one for my niece and nephews and they absolutely loved the fact that there was a boy of color building awesome things with his imagination and using science.
